adding a background color

Let's play with background color of the tables. Let's set the background color of the entire table to yellow.

we see in NN4.7:	we see in IE5.0:

The differences are obvious. NN4.7 reaches directly to the background that the table is resting on for the border color, while IE5.0 uses the table's own background color.

Let's explicity add a border color and see what happens.

NN4.7 uses the pink color as a highlight. IE5.0, on the other hand, uses the pink border color to draw around the entire table and around each cell.
