According the the W3C, one can set the height of a block element like a DIV with the HEIGHT attribute. The code for a DIV element with the WIDTH and HEIGHT set is below. Note that I left out the BORDER-WIDTH property that we usually use to get NN4.7 to make a rectangular colored background.
